Dare to Dream is a creative visualisation for the whole family that enables you to manifest a clear dream, goal or intention that you’d like to create in your life.

Deep relaxation allows your brain to open to powerful new ways of seeing your world and realising your dreams. Maggie guides you to access your own inner compass, your inner resources to overcome self-doubt, fears or failure in order to allow yourself to feel and be successful.

Creative visualisation is enormously useful in helping you create stillness and quiet in your life, which:

  • Reduces stress and over-loaded nervous systems
  • Stimulates imagination and creativity
  • Enhances immune system
  • Reduces pain
  • Improves emotional balance
  • Builds connectedness with the natural world
  • Improves thinking and decision making
  • Settles group energy in homes, schools and workplaces
  • Builds neuro-pathways that create mental wellbeing
  • Processes grief and loss.

Maggie Dent:

Hello, my name is Maggie Dent, and you're listening to Dare to Dream. To fully benefit from this, you will need to have a dream or a goal that's very clear in your mind right now. And if you don't, I need you to take a pause for a while and really think of something that you'd really like to create in your life, and then start it again. Firstly, you can have your eyes open or closed at this point. If open, allow your eyes to focus on one spot somewhere in front of you. It can be a ceiling or a wall. Focus just on that spot, and ensure that you feel comfortable.

Take three deep breaths, very slowly. Inward through the nostrils, and out through the mouth. To get the best benefit from this activity, we need you to access a state of relaxed alertness. So now, allow your own natural or breathing to take over, just easily, gently, calmly. Allow yourself to find your own natural breath. This activity is a calming activity, and as you open your inner world to discover new resources that may support you to realise your dream, you will have a positive emotional state that will flow through your whole body.

As your mind learns more and more, it will feel calmer, freer, and you will sense a flowing of your mind, that will simply open itself to pleasant and powerful new ways of seeing your world, and of realising your dream. When your eyes need to close, allow them to do so, as the body will sink deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation. You will contact very deep places within yourself, places that hold new knowledge, new insights, and new wisdom.

This inner place will open you to be more flexible in your thinking and your mental processing. This deep place of relaxation is where your inner compass or inner source of wisdom is. And that, when you access it, will allow you to realise your dreams or your goals effortlessly and easily.

I now invite you to hold your goal or your dream very strongly in this relaxed place, and easily and effortlessly imagine that you have already achieved the success or the dream that you desire. This dream or goal has already become a reality that feels absolutely wonderful. Spend some time sensing this goal in its most successful form, and be sure not to limit yourself. You will know that the success has occurred because you have used your own inner resources. With your physical strengths and talents, the success is just another example of your natural ability to realise yet another goal in the realisation of your full potential. And you've done it easily and effortlessly, without a struggle.

Keep sensing how success feels in your body. May feel excited. It just may feel incredibly positive. One thing we know, it feels good. Know that your inner compass or your inner guidance system can only be accessed when you are deeply relaxed. It's helpful to remember always, this is the state that holds the most enormous power to support you, to become the very best you that you can be. Stronger, braver, wiser. And this growth occurs effortlessly and easily, when you access your own inner resources, and never rely on anyone else's inner resources.

This inner compass can help you overcome self-doubt, self-criticism, and especially overcome any irrational fears of failure. Step into this state. See yourself as already being successful, as already having achieved your goal, and you will allow yourself to be there easier than any other way.

Once again, feel the positive feelings of joy and happiness, as you continue to experience this state of success around your goal or your dream. Who would you really love to share this moment with in your life? See yourself sharing it with them now. See their faces. Feel their joy, and allow yourself to deeply enjoy that moment of celebration. Then, step back into your own world, and feel again, how good it feels within you, not just how it feels good around others.

Our sense of self is determined by how we feel about ourselves, our achievements, our successes. Know that you have an unlimited power to realise more goals and more dreams, to become happier, to be yourself, to fully accept the unique person that you are. Or, simply to make the world a better place, each time you dream and each time that you aim for the stars.

So, stretch your sense of being successful around this dream or this goal, and allow it to go to a higher level, an even higher expression. What could come next? How else could this contribute to making our world a better place? So, continue to enjoy this successful time for a few more moments before we return to normal awareness.

Just before we begin the return journey, I want you to choose a colour that can represent this state of success for you. What colour would this be if you could paint this feeling of achievement? Now, I'd like you to hold that colour really strongly in your mind. And any time that you choose, in your real world, to activate a similar sense of being successful, this is the colour that you will visualise. You may even visualise a circle of that colour on the floor, and imagine stepping on and standing on it, and allowing it to flow through you. We call that the circle of success.

This colour can anchor in your success state and allow it to come to you, even when you're not deeply relaxed. So, imagine now, as you bring your deeper breath inside your body, that you're breathing in even more of your success colour, right deep into the body. And again, another deep breath, bringing your awareness back a little more towards the real world. And again, one last big breath in. As you bring the oxygen back into your body, bring yourself back to the real awareness of being alive and of being present.

Can wiggle your toes, your fingers. Feel the mind come back online. And remember that, you have the resources within you to achieve any goal or any dream that you choose to pursue. Another stretch, another breath. Welcome back into the real world. And remember, dare to dream, often and lots. And never let anyone steal your dreams. All is well.
