Designed by Childscapes after input from staff, children and families, the new playground was then completed by Nature Play Solutions.

The outdoor space includes a veggie garden, serenity swings, mud pit, a water pump and water channels, a bridge, a sand pit, a huge fort, climbers, slides, musical instruments, a timber deck, a timber work bench and bike tracks.

The Centre invited Maggie Dent to see firsthand the work that had been done. Maggie was so generous with her time walking through the outdoor space with Centre Director Jo Champan and providing further ideas on how to enhance the space even more and build on the great work that had started.
