A word from the school:
Hocking Primary School was recently very fortunate to have this new playground installed in our Early Childhood area. Complete with a stage and log chairs for performances, a water feature with stream and mud/sand at the end (perfect for digging and stomping in), a tee pee, camping area, tunnel, natural fort, boat, plants and many logs and rocks to climb on- outdoor play has never been more fun!

Our new natural setting has allowed our students to interact with each other in a relaxed setting and the impact this area has had on the students behaviour, collaborative, physical and social skills, creativity, imagination and enthusiasm for being outdoors has been amazing.

The rocks and water stream are definitely the favourite area. The students love nothing more than to be barefoot, climbing and experiencing the feeling of the water and sand.

The whole school is encouraged to use this area when the Kindy and Pre-primary students are indoors and it is thoroughly enjoyed by students of all ages.
