Giving parents the tool to raising resilient kids
A Babyology Parent Workshop with Maggie Dent, Karen Young and Warren Cann
With anxiety in children (and parents) on the rise, it’s more important than ever to learn what we can do as parents to help our children thrive in this chaotic world.
The Raising Brave Kids workshop arms parents with all the tools they need to raise resilient kids, as well as gives them a deeper understanding of how anxiety appears and plays out for children, and how parents can strengthen their child’s brain to be more resilient.
This four-hour parenting workshop will be presented by Maggie Dent, Karen Young and Warren Cann.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of:
- Basic experiences to build the competencies that will help kids manage life – the good, the bad and the ugly
- Maggie Dent’s practical model of 10 building blocks that will reassure parents that what we have always known to be important in the early years of a child’s life
- Psychologist Karen Young explains how parents, can quite literally, strengthen a child’s brain to be braver and more resilient, and the importance of relationships in building brave behaviour
- CEO of Parenting Research Centre, Warren Cann explains why it’s important to get to know and accept your child’s temperament, and how to use parenting strategies that work for you both
Tickets are just $95 and include four specialised sessions, delicious morning tea and refreshments.
