From Maggie’s extensive experience of working with adolescents for over more than thirty years she has created an innovative, dynamic seminar for families, schools and communities to build resilience and connectedness for 12-25 year olds. Adolescents need adult allies to help them navigate the tricky waters of the teenage years – the art of guiding, encouraging empowerment while strengthening self esteem and personal autonomy is one that can be learned. This seminar explores the shift in raising children to raising adolescents, and what works and what won’t. (2 hours)

From Maggie’s extensive experience of working with adolescents for over more than thirty years she has created an innovative, dynamic seminar for teachers to show how to build resilience and connectedness for 12-25 year olds. Adolescents are digital natives and can struggle with engagement. This seminar explores the biological changes and how this influences what happens in the classroom. Maggie will give you insights into innovative ways of keeping them engaged and getting the most out of the high school years, TAFE and university years. (2 or 6 hours)

It helps them discover they are "normal" when they feel confused, dumb, lost and stressed and how to get a grip. It will include a copy of Maggie's power point and an extensive guide to teaching this vital information in health in lower school and in upper school as well.
